- Paul Byrd $ 7.5 Million
- Joe Borowski $ 4 Million
- Aaron Fultz $ 1.5 Million
Overall, these are all more than fair amounts with both Borowski and Fultz signing for a very reasonable price in today's market.
Welcome back fellas.
Cheers!

If you look at Borowski's stats from this past year then 4 million a year is actually a steal. He always made it a little more interesting than I would have liked but the stats speak for themselves.
I agree Joe. While many are quick to point to his ERA and propensity to do his best Wickman like impression, I think Wedge and Shapiro right to point to the number that matters most for a closer: SAVES. His blown saves ratio was not bad at all, at like you said, at 4 million/per, he is very affordable. For those who would argue any different, I would assume that their answer would be Raffy B. (very little track record as a closer), in which case we would also lose a very valuable set-up man, or a Free-Agent, who would command nearly 10mil/per....for what, a less stressful ninth? Another point is how much did it really matter in the playoffs in hindsight?
